LiveEO GmbH, a leading provider of satellite-based infrastructure monitoring solutions, has secured a strategic investment from Kyuden International Corporation, a subsidiary of one of Japan’s leading energy groups, Kyushu Electric Power Company. With this new partnership, LiveEO will bring its advanced solutions to the Japanese market and further develop cutting-edge applications for infrastructure management.
“As part of the partnership, we will work together to advance the use of satellite data in infrastructure maintenance and other possibilities. I am very happy that the launch of a demonstration project for satellite-based vegetation management at an affiliate of Kyuden International is already planned for April 2025 as well,” said Sven Przywarra, Co-Founder & CEO of LiveEO.
Through this strategic alliance, LiveEO is expanding into the Japanese market, helping infrastructure operators such as grid and rail network operators enhance efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, the collaboration will explore new services utilizing satellite imagery for rapid damage assessment in disaster situations, further strengthening infrastructure resilience.
The partnership was facilitated with strong support from NordicNinja, a venture capital firm investing in Northern European technology companies addressing global challenges in climate tech, deep tech, and digital infrastructure. By combining LiveEO’s satellite analytics expertise with Kyuden International’s industry experience, the partnership aims to revolutionize infrastructure monitoring in Japan and beyond.
