EUDR Competent Authorities - Updated List (November 2024)

At the start of 2024, the European Union published a list of designated competent authorities responsible for ensuring that operators and traders comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

In Germany, this responsibility falls to the Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung (BLE), while countries such as Austria and France have adopted a collaborative approach with multiple authorities overseeing EUDR compliance.

The list provided below has been updated to include additional member states whose competent authorities were initially missing.

As of October 2024, this is the most current list, although it remains subject to further updates as some member states continue to finalize their appointed authorities.
