The Commercial Network is available to all users of TradeAware, including its free version, TradeAware Lite (sign up here).

Information Sharing via the Commercial Network

The Commercial Network allows companies to send business invitations to their suppliers, similar to sending friend requests on a social network. 

Once accepted, these invitations create Business Connections, enabling secure and structured sharing of geolocation data needed for EUDR compliance. 

Within the Commercial Network, contact details are only shared with the closest connection, while plot data travels down the entire supply chain, enabling operators to assess the deforestation-free status of their supplier base.

The Commercial Network directly tackles several key challenges associated with EUDR compliance:

• Easily Collect Data from Tier n Suppliers: The Commercial Network simplifies the initial step of data collection by allowing companies to request geolocation data from their suppliers. Suppliers can, in turn, request plot information from their sub-suppliers. This process is repeated until all plots are mapped on the platform.

• Keep Your Business Secrets Safe: Suppliers can share the necessary geolocation data without revealing their entire supply chain or business-critical information such as the contact details of their sub-suppliers. Only plot information travels down the supply chain, ensuring that sensitive contact information is only visible one tier up and down, preserving the confidentiality of indirect relationships.

Supplier/Buyer Tables

Users can see their direct supplier relationships and the associated plot data through intuitive tables. This data includes not only the direct supplier's information but also rolled-up data from sub-suppliers, providing a comprehensive view of the entire supply chain.

Notifications and Invites

The system tracks the status of business invitations, displaying them as pending, declined, or expired. This ensures clear and timely communication between all parties involved.
